About Me

CHEMKO CBO is a Community Based Organization, Non-Profit and NonGovernmental initiated in 10th October 2020, whose location is within the sugarbelt of Chemelil, Muhoroni and Koru Locations respectively. The marginalized members in Muhoroni are not easily accepted in the community and in most cases most of them don’t know their rights which is often violated. The rate of stigma and discrimination which is always directed to the LGBTIQ person is very high leaving them very vulnerable to stigma, discriminations and mental health issues.
